On April 15 and 16, your Bargaining Committee met with representatives from McCain Foods for our second bargaining session, working toward your new Union contract for all bargaining unit employees at McCain Foods.
We had productive discussions and made some progress on several important points that are necessary to reach a fair contract, however no tentative agreements have been agreed to. During this session, both your Union Bargaining Committee and the Company representatives presented their proposals, followed by constructive conversations with the goal of securing a fair agreement.
What you do every day is essential to McCain Foods in Burley. You are the foundation; without you, they can’t operate. Your Bargaining Committee is fighting for better pay, benefits, and safer conditions that recognize your value and protect you. You deserve nothing less for the work that you do.
We meet again next week on April 24 and April 25. We will update you after the completion of our next bargaining session.
If you have any questions, please reach out to your Union Representative.
