On June 24th and 25th, your Bargaining Committee met with Albertsons representatives for our seventh bargaining session.
Your Bargaining Committee and the Company have made progress towards reaching a settlement agreement that will improve the lives of our members and their families working in Idaho, Jackson WY, and Ontario OR.
While there is progress, significant gaps remain in key areas which must be addressed prior to your bargaining team recommending you vote ‘yes’ on a new agreement. Additional bargaining dates are tentatively scheduled for July 21st and 22nd, where we will continue to fight for the settlement you deserve.
We left the bargaining table feeling cautiously optimistic, but ready to do what is necessary to win a fair contract at a moment’s notice.
