Oregon – UFCW 555’s member led bargaining committee, representing Roth’s Fresh Market employees, announced this evening that a tentative agreement has been reached with the employer, thereby averting the previously announced strike.
Press Release: Roth’s Union Members to go on Strike
Oregon – This morning (September 10, 2025) at 7:00 am, UFCW 555 notified Roth’s that members covered by their collective bargaining agreement will go out on strike, starting 6:00 am the following day (September 11, 2025) unless demands for a fair contract are met. The strike will run through September 13, 2025, ending at 2:00 pm.

Bargaining Update – Idaho Albertsons: Employer Fails to Make Meaningful Movement Ahead of ULP Strike Vote
During this session the company failed to make any meaningful movement that would make a difference to you or your family’s lives. The company’s spokesperson continues to disrespect you and your coworkers.
Bargaining Update – Idaho Albertsons: Employer Proposes Wages that Ignore Rising Cost of Living
On May 15th and May 16th, your Bargaining Committee met with Albertsons representatives for our fifth bargaining session. The company finally made an economic proposal, but that offer falls short of recognizing you for the contributions you make to the company’s bottom line.
Bargaining Update – McCain Foods: Tentative Agreement Reached
The parties were able to reach a Fully Recommended Settlement Agreement that will provide wage increases, as well as improvements to the drafting process, additional time off work, and additional improvements to other terms of the Agreement.

In light of information provided to the Union at our last bargaining session, your bargaining committee put forward a proposal to end drafting at McCain Foods, while maintaining your right to work additional hours if you wish.

On April 15 and 16, your Bargaining Committee met with representatives from McCain Foods for our second bargaining session, working toward your new Union contract for all bargaining unit employees at McCain Foods. We had productive discussions and made some progress on several important points that are necessary to reach a fair contract, however no tentative agreements have been agreed to.
